Sherlock began telling Bea how the 3 of them, Dr Watson & her mom & Sherlock, started doing investigation together. Their story when darkness fell on over London.
They were a Trio.
It's unfolding, slowly. Sherlock & Alice being in loved, them doing the experiments together & Sherlock telling Bea their mom had dreams same with Jessie. And him being Jessie's father.
Ohhhhh (?) Is Dr Watson jealous of Alice and Sherlock closeness and he's losing his bestfriend??? Did he really grabbed Sherlock so that Alice could be taken by the Rip?
On another side, Billy & that man from the workhouse and the feeling of taking revenge for beating Bea to death.
I think at the end of it all, Bea understood where Sherlock was coming from.
